Position overview

This position will initially be remote. This position will be part of the core product development team and on special deployment projects, as needed. The following are responsibilities associated with this position in both functions: 

  • Identify opportunities for real-time product performance monitoring and ML-based improvements 

  • Design and develop data pipeline for real-time network signal processing to classify network anomalies, application domain scoring, ‘trusted’ route selection (as part of core product features and specialized projects) for automated network adaptability (SDN) 

  • Optimize and maintain data pipeline to maximize Quality of Service  

  • Generate insights from real-time and non-real time data 

  • Assist in analyzing customer requirements as relevant (ML-oriented) 

Required skills and experience

The following are necessary skills and expertise for this role: 

  • Experience with graph-based machine learning 

  • Familiarity with applications of machine learning for network optimization and security 

  • Experience deploying data pipelines for ML models in the context of real-time decision-making 

  • Bachelor's in mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science or equivalent 

  • Familiarity with industry ecosystems and ML frameworks (SciKit-Learn, xgBoost, Keras, TensorFlow, pyTorch) 

  • Expertise with supervised, unsupervised ML, and deep learning 

  • Deep knowledge of math, probability, statistics and algorithms 

  • Excellent communication skills 

  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills 

  • Language: English

Desired skills and experience

The following are nice-to-have skills and expertise for this role:

  • Experience in a technical role within the networking technology industry 

  • Experience developing ML models with IP and other network data 

  • A passion for data and real-world use cases
